Lessons To Self Love: The Easy Way Or The Hard Way

The year 2015 was the hardest year of my life. I'm telling you this deeply painful story so you can understand, when life squeezes you really tight: You're manifesting the version of the lesson you need in the exact way that is going to be most effective in getting you to learn the fucking lesson.   How tightly life squeezes you is showing you how much resistance you've been having to letting go of self-limiting behaviour and patterns so you can get to the next fruitful phase of your life. Life squeezing you that hard is giving you an opportunity to turn your pain into your own empowerment. If you have pain, there is a way you can empower yourself. IT will all be worth it once its done. The Story Begins: Circa 2014. At this portion of my life story, I had just moved to Cape Town, my own business had failed due to not yet knowing or understanding this city's rhythms, I could not find work, and as a result could not afford to pay for my car or rent. This wen...

Manifestation: Three Mirrors To Use For Shifting Through Life

Photo By: Monique Grobler. Recap We learned some great manifestation lessons in my most recent posts. We established, by looking at modern scientific experiments, that the world is made up of photons of light that reflect and are steered by our emotional state of being. Our emotions steer 'reality' via the electromagnetic qualities of our DNA and heart frequencies, which then influence the world around us. Negative emotions = contracted, low performing DNA, while positive emotions = DNA that is relaxed and thrives. We also discovered we are connected to the field of energy photons make up, that is present in and around all 'matters of being' in this world. Quantum physics has observed this energetic field to have a holographic nature , and has taught us that the outside world is a reflection of our inner state, which the holograph projects as our daily life. Reflection For manifestation, adding this information to our creation toolkit is essential. If th...

Forgiveness: It's For Yourself

This week, I'm speaking about the value of forgiveness . I've been feeling this post calling me for a few weeks now. Not quite feeling like I was in a space that allowed me to dig deep enough to really let it flow out, I put it off. Still, each week, the internal tug came, and this week: it's time. There are events that unfold in life that sometimes leave us feeling hurt and betrayed, sometimes beyond words, and the emotional pain and wounding from the situations can lead to us holding onto the pain as a reminder to not trust the person or the situation again. The pain serves us for a while, but holding onto it for too long only hurts yourself. Sometimes we hold onto the pain until we get an apology, when in truth, we may well not get an apology at all, because at the end of the day, either the person is not sorry, does not think they have done anything to be sorry for, or does not care.  Ultimately, you are the only one left stuck in the pain, while they'...
